T & T Medical Billing was established in 1999. The founder and owner, Tara L Thomas brings over 15 years experience to the medical billing industry. With certifications in medical billing and memberships with various billing associations, T & T is a company built on expert knowledge which is essential for competent work performance. We also understand the uniqueness of the mental health provider as it pertains to billing. We understand that claims do sometimes go to an insurance company OTHER than what the patients insurance card says. During the 15 years experience, 12 years were focused only on billing for psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.
HIPAA - The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act was established to protect certain confidential patient information. T & T Medical Billing's statement of compliancy of that act is outlined in our Business Associate Agreement which is signed and given to all new clients. It is always our goal to protect the privacy of all patient/client accounts. All electronic claims are sent over a secure, hacker safe server.
